The Denver Christadelphian Ecclesia is in Littleton, CO and we are a small ecclesia apart of a bigger body that spans across the United States and Canada. The members of the ecclesia pull together to keep everything running, meaning that there is not a paid ministry. We invite all who would like to come and learn with us about what the scriptures have to say. We meet Sunday mornings, Wednesday night for bible class, and Saturday for games and fun.

Looking ahead to the spring, the Peak is closed on Easter Sunday so we will meet at the Grange Hall in Golden. We can plan to have lunch there too.

This post reminds me that we will need a place for Easter Sunday, should we rent the Grange again and have a pot luck too.Anyone wanting to hike could do that afterwards too.

Thanks for setting this up, Ray. For 2016, I think we decided to have our weekly Bible class on Wednesdays instead of Thursdays, at least for now. Not sure if you can change this on the home page. Thanks again!

FYI – We will be doing a volunteer project at Joshua Station in Denver. This is a place for transitional housing for homeless families. It used to be a motel and now families, mostly mothers and children can stay here up to 2 years until they get back on their feet. They offer counseling in different areas for them. When a family moves out, they need to redo the rooms as the families can take the furniture with them and it usually needs to be painted. We did one a number of years ago. Usually they are double rooms. If anyone plans on getting rid of household items in the near future please let me know. Needs will be beds, full and single size, small table and chairs, small chest of drawers and storage items, lamps, crock pots, wall hangings, etc. there is not a lot of room so no sofas or big chairs needed.We don’t have a date to do the work yet but will keep everyone posted. We would love to have the young people or anyone else involved.

Great idea! I am interested in donating a bed (frame, mattress, box springs) and other furniture and maybe a crockpot and other kitchen items. I don’t know how I’ll move it. It depends on the date, and where I’ll be living this year.
