About the Christadelphians
The name Christadelphian means “brethren in Christ.” Christadelphians are a world-wide community of Bible students whose fellowship is based on a common understanding of the Scriptures.
Christadelphians have no hierachy or paid ministry, but work together in different roles to hopefully create a weekly service pleasing in God’s eyes.
Christadelphians often refer to their local organizations as “ecclesias”, a Greek word referring to the assembly or community of believers. This is intended to place the emphasis on the individuals and community rather than the building commonly associated with the word “church” which is how ‘ecclesia’ is translated in most Bibles.
